Privacy Policy

1. Information we handle

Stillnote handles the following data:

• The start time, end time, and length of each meditation session
• Reflection notes you choose to write

These are stored only on your iPhone (in SwiftData) and, if you allow it, in your personal iCloud. Nothing is sent to a Stillnote-operated server.

2. Information we do not collect

• Personally identifying information (name, email, phone number)
• Device identifier tracking
• Third-party advertising SDKs
• Analytics or tracking cookies

3. iCloud sync

When iCloud sync is enabled, your meditation records are stored in Apple's private iCloud Database. This is an Apple-provided mechanism and is not accessible to anyone else, including Stillnote's developers.

4. Apple Health integration

• Meditation time is written as Mindful Minutes only when you allow it
• When you delete a session in Stillnote, Stillnote deletes the matching record it wrote to Apple Health
• Read access is used only to identify the record to delete. Stillnote does not read other Health data

5. Microphone and speech recognition

• The microphone is used only when you choose to dictate a reflection
• Apple's speech recognition (SFSpeechRecognizer) is used only in on-device mode
• If on-device speech recognition is unavailable for your device or language, voice input will not start

6. Notifications

Local notifications are sent only when you have set up reminders. We do not connect to any push notification server.

7. Children's privacy

Stillnote is not directed at children under 13.

8. Your rights

• You may delete any of your records at any time
• Records can be exported in Notes-friendly format
